Controller

In short

You can use the shop without an account. We only need an email address to deliver your downloads. It is deleted automatically after 7 days. There is no advertising, no newsletter, no tracking and no sharing with third parties.

Visiting the shop and server logs

The shop runs on a server operated by Zenkner-Technology in Germany (hosting: Bero-Host). When you visit, the web server necessarily processes your IP address, date and time, the requested address and the browser identifier in order to deliver the page and to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

Anonymous visit statistics are derived from the logs (page views per day, without IP address and without recognition across several days).

Order and delivery by email

When you place an order we store:

• your email address
• the selected language
• the ordered scripts with version
• the time of the order

With this data we send you exactly one email containing the link to your download page. The link is valid for 7 days. After that the order and your email address are deleted automatically. Only an anonymous count of how often a script was ordered and downloaded remains.

The email is sent through our own mail service. The legal basis is the provision of the service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Protection against abuse

To prevent anyone from flooding other people's addresses with orders, we count orders per day. For this purpose a non-reversible check value is derived from your IP address and from the email address. It changes daily and is deleted the following day. The IP address itself is not stored. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cart and theme

The cart and the selected theme (light or dark) are only kept in your browser's local storage and are not transmitted to us unless you place an order. The shop sets no cookies. This storage is necessary for the function you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG), which is why there is no cookie banner.

Links to GitHub

Each script links to its source code on GitHub (GitHub, Inc., USA). Data is only transmitted to GitHub once you click the link. GitHub's privacy policy then applies.

No tracking or advertising services

No analytics or tracking services, no advertising networks and no embedded third-party content are used. Fonts and images are delivered from our own server.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Write to cyrill-pascal.zenkner@zenkner-technology.de.
